This tour will begin at Cape Croker Indian Park and will introduce you to the First Nation culture through a variety of experiences. On this special tour you will paddle the waters of Cape Croker with a certified Ontario Recreational Canoeing and Kayaking Association (O.R.C.K.A.) Canoe Tripping guide.
Brad L. Kiwenzie a First Nation artist and elder from the area will teach his painting methods and delight you with a talk on the history, spiritual stories and how they influence First Nation art a truly unique and Canadian experience.
Some highlights from this special tour experience will include:
A historical overview of the First Nation culture, history and spirituality as told by the First Nation people.
Paint and Paddle in the Cape Croker bluffs area with a First Nation artist also included is the O.R.C.K.A. Safe Canoe paddling program.
An array of traditional foods and meals of the First Nation culture will also be prepared by First Nation cooks.
A tepee experience with stories and legends of the First Nation people’s followed with First Nation dancing, singing and drumming.
